How to delete Windows XP Home after installing Windows XP Pro?

The first answerer gave a good answer but that will be good for the tech people… there is a graphics option on your Windows Operating system. All you need to do is right click you computer and select Properties. Under one of the properties tabs you will find Advance Tab, Click on this and select Startup and Recovery option. When you get here, you should select, System Startup, click on the edit button and then you can delete the option that brings XP Home up.

But you should note that this does not remove the XP Home from your computer, this is because, some of the files in both OS may be linked together, hence if you delete one the other may likely become unstable….

However, if you want to total have nothing to do with the Home XP, you have to totall do a fresh installation but this time around, I will advice that during the process of installation you must delete the partition on which the OSs are and then install…

But if you are concerned about your documents or programs on the new Professional XP, I will advice that you load a good antivirus with full updates and then scan your system because if it is a virus that has caused the first problem, there is no guarranty that the problem will not happen again.

Anyway, whatever choice you take from the all these things I have outlined, best of luck to you…
