Is it safe to insert windows xp’s hard drive and memory into windows vista?

No.

1. You can’t just plug in your XP harddrive into your Vista computer and expect XP to boot up. You need to fresh install XP on the Vista computer. Just installing the harddrive won’t affect your computer.

2. As for memory it depends on the motherboards of the 2 computers and whether they use the same type of RAM.
