How to stop my computer asking me which version of Windows XP I wish to load?
Right click on the ‘my computer’ icon and open properties
click on ‘advanced’ tab.
click on ’settings’ button in the startup and recovery column.
In the new window, click on the edit button
In the text file opened, delete the whole line containing the title you want to remove ie Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Home Edition(original).the line will be under the text [operating sustems] (generally the line is “multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WIN… Windows XP Professional” /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
“)
and save the change.
If the above does not work, do a system format to the date before the date of installing the Stardock’s Bootskin app.
