Windows xp one computer one cd(license) really work

How does windows xp one computer one cd(license) really work?

You’ve got a few different questions there, so let’s see if we can simplify this a bit.

1) When you install Windows XP on a PC, it create a record for itself of the hardware within that PC, along with activating Windows. That hardware record can be modified by making some changes to the hardware over time (something like adding a video card or a hard drive).

2) If you reformat and reinstall a copy of Windows that requires activation, if you do it more than once in 120 days, you will not be able to activate it over the internet, and will have to call Microsoft at the appropriate phone number from the list provided through the activation window.

3) If you purchased a copy of Windows XP to install on a PC and you later want/have to replace the PC with a new one, and the new PC does not have Windows, the conditions in point (2) apply.

change a password for a user in Windows XP Pro but now login to a database fails

I changed a password for a user in Windows XP Pro but now login to a database fails;how to get old password?

Turn on you computer and once you see the first thing pop up, log into safe mood (i think you hit F8… look it up) then when your in safe mode you can change your password and do whatever you need to do. Dont listen to this guy above me. Kubuntu is very advanced and uses Linux operating system in some ways. Save yourself some time and your computer and do not download this if you don’t completely research it and know how to use it first.

Get windows xp pro sp2 to accept new product key

How to get windows xp pro sp2 to accept new product key?

A product key only works with the copy it is provided with. To use the new key you need to install the version that came with it. If you already had XP installed it would have been easier to simply use the Microsoft updates version, which runs on your original key.
